Obituary of Kathy Charlene Cordes

Mrs. Kathy C. Cordes, age 56 a resident of Auburndale passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale with her family by her side. Mrs. Cordes was born October 27, 1958 in Winter Haven to Leland and Clairsteen (Kelton) King. She was a lifetime resident of Polk County and graduated from Winter Haven High School Class of 1976. She was a criminal court clerk. Kathy was a United States Army Veteran and while serving she traveled to Germany, California, Washington, Hawaii and several other places. She was a member of C.F.A. (Cat Fancy Association) and enjoyed reading and being with family. She was preceded in death by her paternal & maternal grandparents. Kathy is survived by her loving & devoted family; Son: Chris Cordes of Lakeland Daughter: Jessica (Sean) Torpey of Auburndale Parents: Leland & Clairsteen King of Eagle Lake 2 Brothers: Perry (Deborah) King of Merritt Island Kevin King of Winter Haven 2 Sisters: Tammy (Duane) Conley of Savannah, GA.
