Obituary of Edna Mae Smith

Mrs. Edna Mae Smith, age 75 a resident of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Winter Haven Hospital. Mrs. Smith was born November 11, 1942 in Sylvester, Georgia to Howard and Marie (Scarborough) Stamey. She was a Winter Haven resident since 1952 coming from Cleveland, Tennessee. She was a Food Service Manager for Polk County Schools and a Member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Auburndale. Edna enjoyed sewing, cooking, traveling and most of all spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband – Eddie Jack Robert Smith; 2 brothers – James & George and sister – Cora.

Edna is survived by her loving and devoted family;

Brother:     Charles Stamey and his wife Tanya of Sylvester, Georgia

2 Sisters:     Elizabeth Blakely of Winter Haven, Florida

                   Virginia Dale Ott Campbell of Steel, Missouri

Grandson: Logan Smith of Winter Haven, Florida
