Obituary of Ruth Hart

AUBURNDALE - Mrs. Ruth Mae Hart, age 95 a resident of Auburndale passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013, of natural causes at Good Shepherd Hospice. Mrs. Hart was born 7/5/17 in Gordon, AL. to William Polk and Ida J. (Coker) Hughes. She was a resident of Auburndale for over 90 years coming from AL, member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Auburndale, worked for Adams Packing and retired from the admin. dept. at WHH after 15 years. She was a member of the Auburndale Women's Club, volunteered as a Pink Lady for WHH, enjoyed fishing, cooking and loved being with family & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Leo; daughter Patricia Smith; 4 brothers Drew, Jake, Alec & Lee. Ruth is survived by her loving family: son: Shelby (Rebecca) Hart of Crestview, son-in-law: Donald Smith of Auburndale, 6 grandchildren: Carla (James) Murphy, Joey (Lynne) Smith, Jerry (Stephany) Smith, all of Auburndale, Michael (Darree) Hart of AL, Kim (Jay) Finley of Canada, Destiny Hart of Winter Haven, 14 great grandchildren: Lauren, Brad, Kyle, Courtney, Chris, Jake, Sydney, Josh, Ben, Jake, Zak, Jason, Cody & Ashley, 7 great great grandchildren: Ellie, Colten, Anna, Niven, Ivey, Cane & Brooks. Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday, 3/7/13 at the Kersey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Wed. 3/6/13 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
