Obituary of Reginald Byrd McLean

Mr. Reginald Byrd McLean, age 82 (May 11, 1930) of Auburndale died Thursday April 4, at his home due to heart failure. Mr. McLean was a native of Alabama and had been a resident of our community for the past year coming from Lake Wales. He was a master planer for a box company, a U.S. Navy Veteran and was a member of the Westwood Missionary Baptist Church in Winter Haven. He was preceded in death by his Wife Jewel McLean, his parents Carlie & Clera McLean , a brother Eugene McLean and a sister Joyce Choate. Survivors include 2 sons Louie McLean (Billie) of Haines City, and Tony McLean (Renee) of Winter Garden; a daughter Jane LaFrandre (Halsey) of Auburndale; his brother David McLean (Mary) of Lake Wales; his sister Diane Bunner (Leslie) of Mooresville, N.C.; five Grandchildren and ten Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday April 6, at the Westwood Missionary Baptist Church, 3210 Avenue G N.W. , Winter Haven. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 prior to the service.
