Obituary of Lamar Bruce Guy

Mr. Lamar B. Guy, 83 of Auburndale passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013 in Auburndale due to pneumonia. Mr. Guy was born on August 18, 1929 and moved here from Cottonwood, Al. 58 years ago. He was an Army veteran during the Korean War and a retired Feed Mill Operator with Adams Packing. Mr. Guy enjoyed making his own ammo and expending it at the shooting range. He also enjoyed fishing and old western movies. Mr. Guy was preceded in death by his wife, Effie Mae Baxter Guy and 2 brothers, Ben and L. S. Guy. He is survived by his son, Gary Bullock of Carrollton, Ga., his daughter, Janie Risley of Lakeland, a brother, Eugene Guy of Auburndale, 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will take place Wednesday at 2 PM at the Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale with visitation beginning at 1 PM.
