Obituary of Francis Howard Moree

Mr. Francis Howard Moree, age 92 a resident of Winter Haven passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Winter Haven Hospital due to Natural Causes. Mr. Moree was born December 25, 1920 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Frank and Mellie (Englund) Moree. He was a longtime Polk County resident, was of the Methodist faith, enjoyed fishing, cooking & hunting. Howard was a United States Navy Veteran serving in World War II (USS Bell, USS Charrette & USS R.P. Leary) he served as the Chief Machinist's Mate and received several stars and a WWII Victory Medal. He was preceded in death by his parents. Howard is survived by his only child, daughter Beverly Vannoy and husband Dennis of Auburndale.
