Obituary of Velda Louise Hall

AUBURNDALE - Mrs. Velda L. Hall, age 74, a resident of Auburndale departed this life on Monday, August 12, 2013 into the waiting arms of Jesus due to cancer. Mrs. Hall was born January 17, 1939 in Picnic, Florida to Rayford and Ethel (Rees) Albritton. Velda retired as a Dental Assistant and was a member of Lena Vista Baptist Church in Auburndale. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband William "Bill" Hall. Velda is survived by her loving family: 1 daughter: Rhonda Marionneaux of Plant City, FL, 2 grandchildren: Stacy (Donny) Ray of Winter Haven, FL, Mitch Marionneaux of Baton Rouge, LA, 2 sisters: Harriett Rowand of Lakeland, FL, Edith (Wayne) Putnel of Ft. Meade, FL, 5 grandchildren: Lauren, Leah, Michael, Ethan & Mimi, several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers please send donation's in Mrs. Hall's name to: Good Shepherd Hospice, 115 S. Missouri Ave., Ste. 500, Lakeland, FL, 33815. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the Kersey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Auburndale Memorial Park. Visitation will be held before services from 11-12 at the funeral home.
