Obituary of Roger Dean Guy

Mr. Roger Dean Guy, age 69 a resident of Auburndale passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Roger and his wife were on their way back from Missouri to Florida after a 50th wedding anniversary gathering for friends of 57 years Harold & Karen Kay. Mr. Guy was born April 1, 1948 in Belleville, Illinois to Manuel Darrius and Dorothy Jane (Sullivan) Guy. He was a Long Distance Truck Driver and of the Pentecostal Faith. He was a lifetime resident of St. Louis, Missouri and Auburndale, Florida. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. Roger enjoyed cooking, singing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson - Tristan Luke Hodges; brothers & sisters. Roger is survived by his loving & devoted family; Wife of 36 years: Talma Guy, Son: Christopher Guy and his wife Samara, Daughter:Tracey Hodges and her significant other Mike Anderson, 7 Grandchildren: Alyssa, C.J., Josh, Serenity, Holly, Jonathon & Andrew, He was also preceded in death by his daughter - Angela and also survived by 2 sons - Doug & DeWayne several grandchildren & great grandchildren.
