Obituary of Evon Ellerbe Reed

WINTER HAVEN - Mrs. Evon Ellerbe Reed, age 79, (June 11, 1934) of Winter Haven passed away Sunday December 8, 2013, at the Winter Haven Hospital from lung disease. Mrs. Reed was a native of Catahoula Parrish, Louisiana and had lived in the Auburndale and Winter Haven area since 1983 coming from Galliano, Louisiana. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph & Palestine Ellerbe; son Johnny Ray Ola and grandson Joseph David Ola, Jr. Survivors include her husband Luther "Luke" Reed of Winter Haven; 3 daughters Robyn (Donnie) Ellis, Lisa Sawyers and Patricia Griffith, all of Auburndale; 2 sons Joseph Ola and Rene (Darla) Ola, all of Auburndale, 2 step-daughters Sandy (Tony) Bomesberger and Barbara Ann Nickels, all of Moore, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday December 13, at Kersey Funeral Home, 108 Lake Stella Drive, Auburndale. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. before the service.
