Obituary of Appalene Brice Oliver

Mrs. Appalene Brice Oliver, age 88, a resident of North Augusta, South Carolina passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 due to heart failure. Mrs. Oliver was born September 17, 1925 in MacFarlan, West Virginia to Cody and Virgie Mae (Fortney) Bell. She was a resident of Lake Alfred, Florida until moving 10 years ago to North Augusta to be by her family. She was a homemaker and a member of Orange Street Church of Christ in Auburndale. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gerald E. Oliver; son Stanley Marvin Oliver; brother Duane Bell and sister Irene Westfall. Appalene is survived by her loving family: 2 sons: Keith Lee (Donna) Oliver of Burns, TN, Larry Dean (Donna) Oliver of Dickson, TN; daughter: Patsy (Raymond) Mathis of North August, S.C.; sister: Christene Thomas of Newport, OH; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
