Obituary of Steve Ernest Miller

WINTER HAVEN - Mr. Steve Ernest Miller, Jr. age 55, a resident of Winter Haven and grew up in Auburndale, passed away Wed. Feb. 19, 2014 at Lakeland Regional due to lung cancer. Mr. Miller was born Feb. 13, 1959 in Winter Haven to Steve Ernest and Agnes Quinell (Daniels) Miller, Sr. He was an Auburndale High School graduate, was involved with the Community Theater and was the co-manager for the Haines City WalMart and other retail stores. Steve enjoyed fishing and target practice. He was preceded in death by his father; sister Susan & brother Tim. Steve is survived by: wife: Cathee Miller of Winter Haven, mother: Agnes Miller of Auburndale, stepchildren: Manda Mueller Karaluinas, Thomas & Nicholas Matarazzo, step grandson: Samuel Cortez, nieces: Heather Highsmith (Kurt) Brown of Winter Haven, Holly Highsmith of Auburndale, Haley Highsmith (Phil) Evans of Lake Wales, nephew: Harrison Highsmith of Lakeland, brother-in-law: Donald Hammond of Lakeland, step nephews: Garrett and Raymond Hammond, step niece: Jessica Hammond, great nephews: Peyton Pall, Austin Thomas Cribbs and Holden Evans, great nieces: Hannah Awad and Carmen Evans, many other loving family & friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Kersey Funeral Home.
