Obituary of Thurman Harrison

Mr. Thurman Harrison age 85 (June 21, 1928) of Auburndale passed away Friday June 6, at the Winter Haven Hospital of respiratory failure. Mr. Harrison was a native of Houston County, Alabama and had been a resident of our community since 1953 coming from Alabama. He was a retired Phosphate mine construction worker and was a member of the Gateway Assembly of God Church, Auburndale. He was preceded in death by his wife Mavis Harrison; parents James and Anne Harrison; sisters Merita Baxter and Juanita Wood; brothers Arthur and Edward Harrison. Survivors include his son Kenneth Harrison (Sandra) of Auburndale; grandson Sgt. Christopher Harrison (Kayla) of Ft. Rucker, Ala.; granddaughter Jessica Harrison of Jacksonville; 2 great grandsons Hayden and Landon Harrison of Ft. Rucker.
