Obituary of Mary Catherin Dodson

Mrs. Mary Catherine Dodson, age 62 of Lake Alfred passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014 in Winter Haven due to heart failure. Mrs. Dodson was born in Arlington, Va.to Lt. Colonel Andrew and Patricia Geisler and had lived in this area since 1985. Mrs. Dodson was a retired manager with Wal-Mart and volunteered her time with several agencies including 30 years with the Polk County School Board, the Sheriff's Dept and B.A.S.E. Camp. She loved the UCF Knights and Tampa Bay Bucs football and her heart and soul was spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Dodson was preceded in death by her husband Keith Dodson, her mother, Patricia Geisler and her granddaughter Marlie Kai Dodson. She is survived by her son, Jeremiah (Stephanie) Dodson of Lake Alfred, 3 daughters, April (Rob) Agnew of Orlando, Sarah Dodson of Auburndale and Rebecca Dodson of Orlando, 4 brothers Andrew Geisler of Loveland, Co., Robert Geisler of Lake Alfred, James Geisler of Dumfries, Va. and David Geisler of Lake Alfred, her father, Andrew Geisler of Winter Haven and 5 grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Ethan, Nathan, Owen and Isabella. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 3 PM with visitation beginning at 2 PM at the Kersey Funeral Home in Auburndale.
