Obituary of Maria del Carmen Rivera-Torres

AUBURNDALE - Mrs. Maria del Carmen Rivera Torres, age 93, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014 in Auburndale due to natural causes. Mrs. Torres was born to Aurelio & Luz Rivera in Cauca, Coahuila Mexico and had lived in this area for the past 38 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guadelupe Torres Sr., a son, Emilio Torres and a daughter, Maria Elena Torres. Surviving her are 3 sons, Humberto Torres of Auburndale, Manuel H. Torres Sr. of Winter Haven, Guadelupe Torres Jr. of Florida, a daughter, Rosario Chavez of Auburndale and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will take place Wednesday at 11 AM at the Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment to take place at Auburndale Memorial Park.
