Obituary of Emma Goss Frankenburger

Mrs. Emma "Ruth" Goss Frankenburger, age 100, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014, at Life Care Center of Winter Haven. Ruth was born May 25, 1914, in Maplesville, Alabama to Lester H. and Clemmie Thrailkill Goss. She was an Auburndale resident since 1924. Ruth was the owner & operator of Ruth's Florist in Auburndale for over 40 years, a member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Auburndale and a member of the Auburndale Chapter 149 Order of Eastern Star. Ruth enjoyed traveling and being with family. She received a 100 year old birthday congratulations from Governor Rick Scott and is a member of the Century Club. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband William "Bill" Frankenburger; daughter Betty Jo Smith; 4 brothers & 1 sister. Ruth is survived by 3 daughters Barbara Ruth William Nally of Lakeland, Alice Jean David Huntley of Auburndale, Janet Kathryn Thomas Seibel of Lakeland, sister JoAnn Richard Jameson of Orlando, 9 grandchildren David, Stephan, Patrick, John, Justin, Shane, Angela, Jeffrey & Leah, 14 great grandchildren.
