Obituary of Willie Strickland

Mr. Willie Strickland Sr., age 88 (February 19, 1926) of Lake Alfred, FL, passed away Saturday, July 5th, at Winter Haven Hospital due to an infection. Mr. Strickland was a native of Douglas, Georgia and had been a resident of Lake Alfred for the past 11 years coming from Auburndale. He was a retired gas station operator and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his son Larry Strickland (Selina) of Auburndale; 4 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
