Obituary of Fredrick Eugene Knowles

Mr. Fredrick Eugene Knowles, age 86, of Polk City, passed away Monday, September 29, 2014, in Lakeland due to cancer. Mr. Knowles was born in Polk City to William & Minnie Knowles and had lived in this area his entire life. He worked picking fruit and later became a maintenance worker for the city of Polk City. Mr. Knowles enjoyed fishing and junking. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Knowles and a sister, Evelyn Smith. Surviving are sisters, Zelda Williams of Lakeland and Relda Newbold of Winter Haven, and brothers, Bill Knowles of Holland, MI, and Bobby Knowles of Lakeland and several nieces and nephews.
