Obituary of Mildred Davidson

Mrs. Mildred Davidson, age 85 a resident of Auburndale passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Auburndale Oaks due to heart failure. Mrs. Davidson was born October 30, 1929 in Coffee County, GA. to Dan & Pearlie (Stewart) Sturgis. She was a resident of Auburndale since 1953 coming from GA. Mildred was a homemaker and a member of Wayfair Primitive Baptist Church in Auburndale. Mildred enjoyed dinner out with sisters, shopping, sewing and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; son - Willie Strickland, Jr.; 3 brothers - Aubrey, Ira & Lonnie. Mildred is survived by her loving family; Son: Larry (Selina) Strickland of Auburndale Brother: Ray (Erlene) Sturgis of Haines City 3 Sisters: Carolyn (John) Johnson of Auburndale Virginia (Waylon) Spears of Auburndale Gladys (Ralph) Jones of Auburndale 4 Grandsons: Larry Jr., Scott, Darren & Joshua 7 Great Grandchildren: Breanna, Jenna, Deveney, Brooke, Cole, Victoria & Alexis Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Kersey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park. Visitation will be held before services from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
