Obituary of Dorothy M. Leland

Mrs. Dorothy M. Leland, age 94 a resident of Lakeland passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 with family by her side in Lakeland due to natural causes. Mrs. Leland was born November 19, 1919 in Leesburg, Florida to Fred and Mabel (Tyner) Krell. She was a resident of the Lakeland and Auburndale area since the 1940's. Dorothy retired from Minute Maid Coca Cola and was a member of Christ Memorial Baptist Church in Lakeland. Dorothy's greatest joy was cooking Sunday dinners for family, friends and her church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband - Lewis Leland; son - Larry Leland; 3 brothers - Olin, Fred & Charles; 1 sister - Martha Scott Parry and 6 grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by her loving family; 3 Sons: Roger (Lisa) Leland of Lakeland Kenny Leland of Lakeland John Leland of Lakeland Daughter: Linda Springer of Lakeland 2 Brothers: Frank (Georgie) Krell of Miami John Krell of Kissimmee 5 Sisters: Jean (Smokey) Bernard of Auburndale Mary (Darl) Bowersox of Lakeland Barbara (David) Sherman of Winter Haven Eunice Fields of Winter Haven Betty Baldree of Winter Haven Mike Segers who was just like a son 15 Grandchildren 22 Great Grandchildren 11 Great Great Grandchildren
