Obituary of Ralph F. Bell

Ralph F. Bell Jr. Born July 1, 1932 in Scotland County, Missouri. He went to be with the Lord December 4, 2014. Ralph attended school in Clarinda, Iowa and at the age of 17 he entered the United States Air Force where he served for 21 years. He was a Korean and Vietnam Veteran, retiring in 1971 in Kissimmee, Florida. Ralph was always involved with his children's activities, and an avid outdoorsman teaching his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren how to fish. In Kissimmee, he worked 20 years with the US Postal Service; and upon retirement, he and his wife Ellen retired to Murphy, NC where he served as a Deacon of Ranger Baptist Church. After 17 years, Ralph and his wife returned to Florida to be close to their family. Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 60 years - Ellen Lee Bell, his four children, Kristy Campbell, Tom Bell (Cathy), Connie Gatlin (Danny) & Donald Bell (Gina) as well as 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way, His sister Patricia Blume (Wayne) and numerous nieces and nephews. In Lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the First Baptist Church of Polk City's Building Fund (address above)
