Obituary of William A. Pierce

Mr. William A. Pierce, age 77 a resident of Auburndale passed away Monday, December 8, 2014 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center due to injuries from an accident. Mr. Pierce was born October 19, 1937 in Ohatchee, Alabama to William Graham & Nellie (Velete) Pierce. William was a Polk County resident for over 55 years coming from Alabama. He was a mechanic/welder in the citrus industry retiring after 30 years from Florida Global/Adams Packing and was a member of Lena Vista Baptist Church in Auburndale (he was saved in 2005). He was preceded in death by his parents; wife - Donnis and brothers & sisters. William is survived by; 4 Daughters: Peggy (Shawn) Mathis of Auburndale Patricia Lehmann of Lakeland Nadine (Aaron) Heath of Lakeland Teresa Foster of Auburndale 4 Sisters: Mary Sinclair of AL. Beatrice Coliard of TN. Penny Bowlen of AL. Flossie Lowery of AL. 15 Grandchildren: Jessica, Christopher, Adam, Derick, Jamie, Misty, Joseph, Ashley, Keren, Judah, Stephen, Ben, Nathan, Christina & Shannon 13 Great Grandchildren: Seth, William, Abbrenna, Jayden, Nevaeh, Bethanie, Hunter, Bryson, Braden, Dominic, Johnathan, Hannah & Marissa A memorial service will be 6:00 PM Friday, December 12, 2014 at the Lena Vista Baptist Church, 213 Florida Dr., Auburndale.
