Obituary of William Davis Ramsey

Mr. William Davis Ramsey, age 86 a resident of Lakeland passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 at The Manor at Carpenters Nursing Home of Lakeland due to heart failure. Mr. Ramsey was born June 27, 1928 in Auburndale to Walter Lee and Eva Josephine (Castleberry) Ramsey. He was a resident of Lakeland for the past 50 years coming from Auburndale. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the American Baptist Church in Lakeland. William was a retried fruit inspector for the State of Florida Department of Agriculture and the former owner/operator of Scenic View Mobile Home Park in Lakeland. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife - Carrie Ramsey. William is survived by; Sister: Annie G. "Gerry" Ramsey King of Gainesville, FL. Brother: James L. "Buck" Ramsey of Ellington, MO. Several Nieces & Nephews
