Obituary of Wyona Brooks

Mrs. Wyona "Elizabeth" Brooks, age 76 a resident of Auburndale passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 at her home with her family. Mrs. Brooks was born October 4, 1938 in Greer, S.C. to John Paul and Edith Hortense (Henderson) Gentry. She was an Auburndale resident since 1967 coming from S.C. She graduated from Greer High School Class of 1957, a retired Para Professional for Polk County Schools and a member of Lena Vista Baptist Church in Auburndale. Elizabeth enjoyed drawing, painting, spending time with her family and being called "Bidgie" by her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister - Barbara Ann Nunn.
