Obituary of Michael Aldine Combee

Mr. Michael 'Mike' Aldine Combee, age 68, a lifetime Polk County resident, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at his home with his family. Mr. Combee was born July 28, 1946, in Lakeland to Aldine and Agnes Mae (Dias) Combee. He graduated from Lakeland High School, Class of 1967 and was a member of Green Pond Baptist Church in Polk City. He was a retired truck driver after 35 years. He worked for several companies, APAC, MacAsphalt, Lane Construction and Central Florida Hotmix. Mike enjoyed cattle ranching, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Randy Dwayne Combee and granddaughter Kayla Marie Bryant. Mike is survived by his loving family: wife of 24 years: Margaret Combee of Auburndale, son: Jamie A. (Valerie) Combee of Auburndale, daughter: Christina M. Combee-Nichols of Polk City, 2 brothers: Johnny Combee of Polk City, Jimmy Combee of Polk City, sister: Bonnie (Curtis) Boles of Lakeland, 3 grandchildren: Jacob Nichols of Polk City, Alexis (Cameron Cotton) Combee of Auburndale, Danny Combee of Polk City, 2 great grandchildren: Kinsley Bryant & Everett Cotton.
