Obituary of L. Holman Brooks

Mr. L. Holman Brooks, age 95 of Auburndale passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015 in Winter Haven. Mr. Brooks was born to Luther L. & Myrtle Brooks in Winter Haven and was a lifelong member of the community. Mr. Brooks was a WW II Army Veteran and hero with the 4th Armored Division, 53rd AIB and a member of Central Assembly of God Church of Auburndale. He also enjoyed fishing, skiing, spending time with family and ministering to others. He was preceded in death by his wife of 75 years, Luline Brooks, a brother, Lavern Brooks and sisters Hazel Brooks Norris and Bernice Brooks Nelson. Survivors include his son, Harold Brooks of Auburndale, 1 brother, Dean (Elizabeth) Brooks of Valrico, granddaughters, Renee (Bernie) Kelly and Lori (Linnis) Feagle, and great grandchildren, Austin and Ashton Thomas and Lewis and Lindsey Feagle.
