Obituary of Charles Andrew Barton

Mr. Charles Andrew "Chuck" Barton, age 74 went home to be with his loving savior on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at his home with his family at his bedside. Mr. Barton was born June 29, 1941 in Jellico, Tennessee to Foster and Ida (Fulks) Barton. He was a Lake Wales resident for the past 8 yrs. and a Polk County resident since 1979 coming from Pennsylvania. Chuck was the owner/operator of CA Barton Plumbing Company Inc. He was a member of the Central Florida Archers of Lakeland, the Christian Motorcycle Assoc. Lake Wales Chapter and the Sisters & Brothers in Christ, cancer support group of Winter Haven. Chuck was a hangliding pilot for 24 yrs., a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a cyclist who did several centuries over 100 miles, a musician which he played the saxophone, trumpet & flute also was an avid fisherman. Chuck could build anything with his hands and at one time built his own boat which he used for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother - Carl Kenneth Barton of Auburndale and sister - Helen Siler of Knoxville, TN.
