Obituary of Nathan McGuire
Mr. Nathan O. 'Red' McG-uire, age 89, passed away Saturday August 29, 2015, at his home in Lake Alfred, Florida.
Mr. McGuire was born in Tampa, Florida but grew up in Springfield Ohio. Upon graduating from high school he entered the U.S. Navy serving aboard the Aircraft Carrier U.S.S. Nassau. Returning to Central Florida Mr. McGuire started working at Florida's Cypress Gardens performing in the daily water ski shows and becoming the ski show director, then concluding his 31 year career as the director of the Photographic division.
Mr. McGuire was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Hope McGuire as well as a brother, John C. McGuire. He is survived by daughter, Mickey (Jim) Barker of Lake Alfred; son, Eddie (Cindy) McGuire also from Lake Alfred. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Jessica (Andrew) Hage of Kissimmee; grandson, Adam (Katie) Colvin Atlanta; and great grandson, Connor Hage, also from Kissimmee.
