Obituary of Janice I Wood

Mrs. Janice I. Woods, age 68 a resident of Polk City passed away Wed. Nov. 4, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Woods was born Aug. 19, 1947 in Lakeland to Edgar and Hilma (Smith) Wilder. She was a lifetime Polk City resident and graduated from Auburndale High School Class of 1965. Janice was a member of the First Baptist Church in Polk City and enjoyed playing piano & socializing. She was preceded in death by her father - Edgar Wilder; Husband - Charles Woods; Stepfather - Vernon Figgs and infant daughter - Mae. Janice is survived by; Mother:Hilma Figgs of Polk City, 2 Daughters: Barbara Judy of Polk City, Tina (Richard) Adams of Polk City, Son: Kevin Woods of Polk City, 9 Grand children and 12 Gt. Gr. Children. Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Fri. Nov. 6, 2015 at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Polk City.
