Obituary of Harold R. Bailey

Mr. Harold R. Bailey Sr., age 87 of Auburndale passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in Auburndale. Mr. Bailey was born to Hollis & Louise Bailey in Maryland and had lived in this area since 1970 coming from Salisbury, Maryland. Mr. Bailey was a retired Dragline Operator with IMC Fertilizer and a US Air Force veteran who served during WWII. He enjoyed Traveling around the US in his RV, fishing, baseball and he loved watching "The Cowboy Station". Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife of 39 years, Rachel Bailey, a daughter, Helen Creider of Lakeland, a son, Harold R. Bailey Jr. of Lakeland, 2 stepdaughters, Deborah Thompson of Auburndale and Judy Smallwood-Achong of Miami, a sister in law, Jean Bailey of Salisbury, Md., 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and his beloved Cocker Spaniel, Essie Mae.
