Obituary of Mary Alice Overstreet

Mrs. Mary Alice Overstreet, age 73 a lifetime Polk County resident passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Winter Haven Hospital. Mrs. Overstreet was born October 6, 1942 in Polk County to Elzie "Bully" & Belle Holt (Hall) Stewart. Mary graduated from Auburndale Adult School in 1975. She was a member of Auburndale Community Church, member of the Auburndale Red Hat Ladies, member of the Winter Haven Moose Lodge and volunteered to sit with the elderly. Mary retired from Scotty's in Auburndale after 15 years of service. She was a beautician working for Virginia's on Havendale for over 30 years. Mary was Charlie Daniels #1 fan and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter - Pamela Arlene Overstreet Miller; 2 sisters - Anna Lou and Betty Jane. Mary is survived by her loving family; Husband of 56 Years: William Overstreet of Lake Alfred, Daughter: Angela Darlene Sullivan of Ft. Myers, Brothers: Leo Stewart of Auburndale Johnny (Mary Ann) Stewart of Homosassa 5 Grandchildren: Loreal, Brandon, Krystal, Sierra & Nathan 2 Great Granddaughters.
