Obituary of Wanda Lucille Elizabeth Rieves

Mrs. Wanda Lucille Elizabeth Hopkins Rieves, age 76 a resident of Auburndale passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 at her home with her husband and daughters by her side. Mrs. Rieves was born November 28, 1939 in Orlando, Florida to John and Sue (Millard) Hopkins. Wanda was an Auburndale resident since 1972 coming from Orlando. Wanda graduated from Boone High School in Orlando. She retired in 1995 as a secretary for Auburndale Central Elementary School and before had worked for Coca Cola/Minute Maid in Orlando. She was a member of Lena Vista Baptist Church in Auburndale and enjoyed listening to Dr. Charles Stanley "In Touch Ministry". She loved crafts, reading and her dogs. She was preceded in death by her father; sister - Beverly Barnett and brother - John Hopkins. Wanda is survived by her loving and devoted family; Husband of 56 Years: James Rieves of Auburndale 2 Daughters: Wendy Rieves of Auburndale Jamie Rieves of Auburndale Mother: Sue Hopkins of N.C. Sister: Vonnie Phillips of N.C. 3 Grand Dogs: Sammi, Gabby & Sugar Baby A private graveside will be held Wednesday.
