Obituary of Melvin Peery

Mr. Melvin Jay Peery, age 83 a resident of Winter Haven passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Winter Haven Hospital. Mr. Peery was born March 31, 1933 in Buckley, Michigan to Vernon Harry and Sophia (Rush) Peery. He was a resident of Polk Co. since the 1960's coming from MI. Melvin retired after 40yrs. as the owner/operator of Mel's Plumbing & Septic. He attended Highland Park Church of the Nazarene. Melvin enjoyed hunting and going to car & gun shows. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife - Shirley; son - Jay and daughter - Brenda. Melvin is survived by; 2 Sons: Roger (Carole) Towles of Winter Haven, Dennis Towles of Winter Haven, 2 Daughters: Teresa Barnes of Lakeland, Tamara (Gene) Durbin of Winter Haven, Twin Sisters: Pat Hawkins of WI and Nancy Aldrich of MI. 10 Grandchildren, 11 Gt. Grandchildren. Interment will take place at Down Cemetery in Buckley, MI.
