Obituary of Luther Harold Brooks

Mr. Luther "Harold" Brooks, age 76 a resident of Auburndale passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Winter Haven Hospital. Mr. Brooks was born Nov. 7, 1939 in Winter Haven to Holman and Luline Brooks. Harold was a lifetime Auburndale resident. He graduated from Auburndale High School Class of 1957 and was a retired salesman for Aramark Services. Harold played bass guitar & sang with his band "The Moon Lighters" for over 30 years. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. Harold enjoyed music and spending time with family & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife - Elizabeth, Harold is survived by his loving family; 2 Daughters: Renee (Bernie) Kelly of Auburndale, Lori (Linnis) Feagle of Auburndale,Cousins: Bobbie Meeks of Auburndale, Jackie Powell of Winter Haven, Aunt & Uncle: Elizabeth & Dean Brooks of Valrico, 4 Grandchildren: Ashton, Austin (Bailey), Lindsey & Lewis.
