Obituary of Dale Lee Maddox

Mr. Dale Lee Maddox, age 51 a resident of Polk City passed away Wed. Aug. 17, 2016 at his home. Mr. Maddox was born Sept. 4, 1964 in Prince William County, Virginia to Milton Edward and Ruth Mary (Schacht) Maddox. Dale was a resident of Polk City since 2004 coming from Pembroke Pines, FL. He was a construction equipment manager for Peter Kiewit and Sons and then master sharpener for the "Edge of Knife" in Polk City. He was a member & usher at Calvary Chapel Church in Lakeland, member of NRA, captain of the "All Army Rifle Team" and a United States Army Veteran serving in Desert Storm. Dale was awarded the "Presidents Hundred Army Marksmanship Unit Award" for sniper shooting. He enjoyed building cars; his first completed project with his dad helping was a 1936 Ford 3 window coupe and his first car was a 1962 Chevy Impala. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother - Alan Maddox in 2006 and brother - Gary Maddox in 2003. Dale is survived by; Ex-Wife & Caregiver: Eve Maddox of Polk City, Son: Justin Maddox and his fiancée Samantha of Polk City, Daughter: Ashley Maddox of Polk City, Brother: Ronald Maddox of Midlothian, TX., Sister: Judy Toner and her husband Ed of Cedar Hill, TX, Adopted Son: Jonathan McCeldry of Polk City, ½ Brother: Steve Clouse and his wife Susan of Johnson City, TN., Justin's Mother & Stepfather: Patti & Carlos Vializ of Stafford, VA.
