Obituary of Katheryn Takacs

Mrs. Katheryn M. Takacs 95, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 in Winter Haven, FL. She was born on February 18, 1921 in Bourbon, IN. She married her husband Joseph Takacs on October 30, 1937 and they moved in 1972 from Lakeville, IN. to Winter Haven, Florida. She worked at Morrow Memorial Hospital as a Nurse's Aid and in Physical Therapy. Katheryn was preceded in death by her husband Joseph and her son, Donald Takacs. She is survived by her sister, Jean Schoen in Mishawaka, IN. and her 6 children: Shirley Fell of Granger, IN., JoAnn Zumbaugh of Kissimmee, FL., Judie DeMorrow of Caledonia, MI., John Takacs of Pioneer, CA, Pamela Lefferts of Springville, AL., and Jacqueline Slane of Brandon, FL., She was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Katheryn also was loved dearly by her closest friends, Edwin Osborn of Mishawaka, IN., Beverly & Paul Stone, Jack & Faye Toole and Madge Collier, all of Winter Haven, FL..
