I have always missed my step dad. I always missed having him in my life since he was there for the first 13 years of mine. Always wanted just one last dinner together. I hope he rests in peace.

James was my brother-in-law, and a friend I will never forget. He was a rock, and a loving member of the family from the 50's. A great attitude and sense of humor was always appreciated. My sympathies to the children and all extended relatives and friends. James will never be forgotten.
Love, Ronell Jones

I will never forget being Grandpa Parrish's knot head. He was always willing to take me fishing and spend time with me and my barbie fishing pole as a little girl so I could catch a fish to fry. He always told the story where I called the hush puppy a quiet dog, but I was little and didn't know any different. I'm thankful to have the good memories that I had with him while I was young. You're memory lives on in my heart. I love you and will see you again one day.

I knew James since grade school and he always greeted me with a wide grin and a glad to see you. And I was always glad to see James. We wouldn't see each other for years at a stretch but when we did it was always "old home week". Condolences to Mike and all the family.

Uncle James will be missed. The familly reunion will never be the same without his smiles, laughter and great fishing and hunting stories. He loved his family and enjoyed his life to the fullest. He was on a fishing trip four short months ago and took a fall that caused more damage than his body could handle....but he was out DOING WHAT HE LOVED and that is what living is all about!!
Love,
Kay Parrish
