Obituary of Sara Davis

Sara E. "Bill" Davis, 80, went to be with the Lord on March 5, 2009 at Auburndale Oaks Healthcare Center as a result of respiratory failure. Mrs. Davis was born February 24, 1929 to George Lee & Cora Bertha (Helms) Ross in Houston County, Alabama. She had lived in Auburndale since 1948, retired from Adams Packing and was a member of the Lena Vista Baptist Church. She is survived by 2 sons: Johnny Lee (Alva) Davis and Tim (Jennifer) Davis, all of Auburndale; 6 grandchildren: Nashan Lofton, Lance Davis, Meredith Hicks, Ross Davis, Adam Davis and Joey Morici; 3 sisters: Nettie Grace Roberts or Colquitta, Georgia, Eileen Music of Bartow, Mildred Floyd of Blakely, Georgia; 1 brother, Terry Ross of Auburndale; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband - John H. Davis; grandson - Herb Morici, 2 sisters and five brothers. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 8, 2009, 3:00PM at Kersey Funeral Home, 108 East Lake Stella Drive, Auburndale, Florida. Visitation will be from 2:00PM until 3:00PM. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park, Auburndale, FL
