Obituary of Mary Gunner

AUBURNDALE - Mrs. Mary Elizabeth "LIBBY" Gunner, age 32 of Auburndale, Florida passed away Sunday, July 26, 2009 due to accidental drowning. Libby was born April 21, 1977 in Winter Park, Florida to Robert Lee and Nancy Katherine (Poole) Greer. She was an Auburndale resident for over 20 years. She received her Bachelors Degree in Counseling from the University of South Florida. She was christened in the First United Methodist of Auburndale. Libby enjoyed going to the Gym, dancing, outdoor activities and spending time with family. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Benjamin Poole; paternal grandfather Olin Greer and great aunt Elizabeth Corley. Libby is survived by her family: husband: David Gunner of Winter Haven, FL, 1 daughter: Bryanna Kirkland of Winter Haven, FL, mother: Nancy P. Langston of Auburndale, FL, father: Robert L. Greer of Poulan, GA, maternal grandmother: Nancy B. Poole of Auburndale, FL, paternal grandmother: Mary Lewis of Griffin, GA, uncle: Ben (Terri) Poole, III of Cleveland, OH, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests those so desiring to make donations in Libby's name to the First United Methodist Church (Youth Ministry), 316 Lake Ariana Blvd., Auburndale, FL. 33823. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 31, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church, 316 Lake Ariana Blvd. with Interment to follow at the Auburndale Memorial Park.
