Obituary of JoAnn Coggeshall

AUBURNDALE - Mrs. JoAnn Kennedy Coggeshall, age 74, a resident of Auburndale, FL, passed away Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 at the Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. Mrs. Coggeshall was born August 4, 1935, in Aurora, IN., to John "Chick" and Mary "Trudy" Kennedy. JoAnn was an Auburndale resident since 1994 coming from Aurora, IN. She was a retired school teacher, a member of the Big Horn Hunting Club in Live Oak, Florida and was of the Methodist faith. After retirement, she worked for Royal Celebrity Tours as guest service relations in Talkeetna and Denali, Alaska. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Chester Coggeshall, and brother Robert Kennedy. JoAnn is survived by: 1 son, David A. (Donna) Coggeshall of Auburndale, FL.; 1 daughter Pam (Howard) Berryman of Naples, FL; 1 brother John "Mike" (Linda) Kennedy of Marion, IN.; 2 grandsons: David A. (Barbara) Coggeshall of Port St. Lucie, FL., Cazzie Hays of Naples, FL.; 1 great grandchildren: Ander Coggeshall, Chani Coggeshall; sister-in-law Ione Kennedy of Brownsburg, IN.; 3 nephews and 1 niece. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL., 33823. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Kersey Funeral Home, 108 E. Lake Stella Drive, Auburndale, FL., 33823 (863) 967-1167. Additional visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 11, 2009 from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009.
