Obituary of Janet Wirz

AUBURNDALE - Mrs. Janet Skinner Wirz, age 79, a resident of Auburndale passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010 at her residence due to lung cancer. Mrs. Wirz was born February 12, 1931 in Little Neck, New York to Anthony and Helen (Jurovich) Skinner. She was an Auburndale resident since 1949 coming from NY and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Winter Haven. She was a retired salesperson for Belk's. She was preceded in death by her parents. Janet is survived by her loving family: son: Anthony "Tony" (Carol) Wirz, granddaughter: Leigh Wirz (Marc) Chesney, 2 great granddaughters: Lauryn Chesney and Layne Chesney, all of Ft. Pierce, FL. In lieu of flowers the family requests donation's in Mrs. Wirz's name to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL. 33823. Funeral services will be held 6:00 PM Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at the Kersey Funeral Home, 108 East Lake Stella Drive, Auburndale.
