Obituary of Elmer Broxton

AUBURNDALE - Mr. Elmer "Joe" Broxton, age 79 of Auburndale passed away Friday, November 12, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Broxton was born in Donaldsonville, Ga. and had lived in this area for 58 years. He was a retired forklift operator with Minute Maid and enjoyed watching baseball. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Christopher Broxton. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Kitty Broxton, daughters Judy (Rick) Williams and Janet (Frank) Bumgarner, son Bobby (Deborah) Broxton, sisters, Edner O'Hearn and Alma White and grandchildren, Alex Williams and Joanne Nix and great granddaughter, Samantha Nix. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 PM at the Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale with visitation beginning at 1 PM.
