Obituary of June Erickson

WINTER HAVEN - Mrs. June Marie Erickson, age 76, a resident of Winter Haven passed away Tues., Nov. 30, 2010 in Winter Haven due to an automobile accident. Mrs. Erickson was born Feb. 28, 1934 in Bainbridge, Ohio to Fred B. and Vera M. (Crosby) Bucholtz. She moved to the Polk County area in the 1990's from Ohio and was a member of the Winter Haven Christian Church. She was a retired Communication Coordinator in the education field, a past substitute teacher in Kentucky and attended the Kentucky Christian College. She was a Sunday school teacher, helped with the Missions team, volunteered at the Regency in the newborn nursery and had worked for Barnett Bank. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard William Erickson; sister Janet Carlton and brother Gail Bucholtz. June is survived by: son: Donald R. Erickson of FL; 2 daughters: Lynne M. Erickson of MN, Gayle M. (David) Heywood of Winter Haven, FL; sister: Kathy Capretta of OH; 5 grandchildren: Eric, Megan, Richard, Alysia & Danielle; 3 great grandchildren: Maggie, Aaron & Ricky; her beloved dog and companion Penny. A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Sat., Dec. 11, 2010 at the Winter Haven Christian Church, 301 6th Street NE, Winter Haven. Arrangements By: Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale.
