Obituary of Hilda Langanke

AUBURNDALE - Mrs. Hilda Langanke, age 98 of Auburndale passed away Saturday, December 11, 2010 in Lakeland. She was born in 1912 to Julius and Mathilda (Langert) Stucki in Konigsberg, East Prussia (now Kalingrad on the Baltic Sea). She was the oldest of 5 children and moved to America in 1924 to New York City with her family until she married Fritz Langanke in 1934 and moved to Rhode Island in 1937. Hilda was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Ashaway, R.I. for more than 60 years and is currently a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Lakeland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fritz Langanke and a grandson, Troy Langanke She is survived by sons, John (Lynda) of South Carolina and Robert (Cheryl) of Florida with whom she has lived the last 5 years, sister, Elsie Kottke of Pa., 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
