Obituary of Mollie Pickren

AUBURNDALE - Ms. Mollie Pearl Pickren, age 75, of Auburndale passed away Monday, Dec. 27, 2010 at her residence due to cancer. Ms. Pickren was born September 18,1935 in Colquitt, Georgia to Robert Lee and Permealia (Henry) Gordon. She was a resident of Auburndale since 1954 coming from Georgia and a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith, loved her flower garden, yard sales and enjoyed her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son; 1 brother; and 3 sisters. Mollie is survived by her loving family: 3 sons: Billy C. Pickren of Auburndale, Jackie L. (Debbie) Pickren of Polk City, Robert Pickren of Auburndale; 2 daughters: Brenda Lee Pickren Smith of Prospect, TN, Gloria Pickren of Crystal Springs, FL; 1 brother Arnold (Nola) Gordon of Brandon, FL; 3 sisters: Edie (Ronnie) Todd of GA, Helen (Maynard) Johnson of GA, Bobbi Ann (Fletcher) Ogletree of AL; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2010 at the Kersey Funeral Home, 108 E. Stella Dr., Auburndale.
