Obituary of Rosetta Broxton

AUBURNDALE - Mrs. Rosetta Ann "Kitty" Broxton, age 64, a resident of Auburndale, passed away Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011 in Lakeland due to cancer. Mrs. Broxton was born August 29, 1946 in Weston, W.Va, to Argel and Alberta (Montgomery) Cool. She came to Auburndale from Winter Park 40 years ago. She was a retired beautician, enjoyed traveling, the beach and she loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Elmer; and brother Pat Cool. Kitty is survived by her loving family: daughter Judy (Rick) Williams of Auburndale; stepson Bobby (Debbie) Broxton of Fernandina Beach, FL; stepdaughter Janet (Frank) Bumgarner of Winter Haven; brother Mike (Debbie) Cool of Kissimmee, FL; sisters Kathy (Paul) Davis of Crawfordville, FL, Kay (Delano) Brown of Whitehouse, TN; 2 grandchildren: Alex Williams and Joanne Nix; 1 great granddaughter Samantha Nix. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 at the funeral home. Visitation will be held from 1-2pm at the funeral home. Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale.
