Obituary of Leonard Crumley

Mr. Leonard Edward Crumley, age 82, a resident of Winter Haven passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011 at the Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale due to heart failure. Mr. Crumley was born May 3, 1928 in Cleburne, AL., to W.J. and Josie Crumley. He was a resident of Polk County since 1948 coming from GA. He was a retired furniture mover, enjoyed gardening, friends and family. He was preceded in death by this parents; 8 brothers: Joseph, Sylvester, Theodore, Comer, Ruby, B.S., Amos & T.J.; and 1 sister Vertie Viccione. Leonard is survived by: his wife of 61 years Mary Crumley; 2 sons: Rack Crumley, Zane Crumley; daughter Valerie (Owen P.) Yelvington; brother L.A. (Connie) Crumley; grandson James Yelvington; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2p.m. Thurs., March 31, 2011 at the Kersey Funeral Home with interment to follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be held before from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements by: Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale.
