Obituary of Brian Smith

POLK CITY - Mr. Brian O'Neal Smith, age 39, a resident of Polk City, passed away Thursday (April 14, 2011) in Lakeland due to a motorcycle accident. Brian was born March 19, 1972 in Winter Haven, FL, to Ollie O'Neal and Sharon (Deese) Smith. He was a lifetime resident of Polk County, graduated from Auburndale High School in 1990 and enjoyed hunting. He worked in maintenance for Publix in Lakeland. He was preceded in death by his paternal & maternal grandparents. Brian is survived by his parents O'Neal & Sharon Smith of Auburndale; daughter Brianna Smith of Polk City; brother Randall Smith of Auburndale; aunts, uncles & cousins. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the Kersey Funeral Home with interment to follow at Auburndale Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 6:00 till 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
