Obituary of Lillian Cantrell

Mrs. Lillian B. Cantrell, age 94 a resident of Auburndale, FL. passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011 in Pine Mountain, Georgia. Mrs. Cantrell was born August 27, 1916 in Spartanburg County, S.C. to Robert Lee and Lula (Cole) Bowen. She lived on PK Ave., for 30 years before moving to Georgia. She retired from Adams packing. Lillian was active in her churches (Eastside Baptist, Jan Phyl Baptist and Haven Baptist). She was preceded in death by her parents; husband - J.D. Cantrell; 1 infant daughter; 1 daughter - Lydia (Connie) Jackson and sister - Winonia Cantrell. Lillian is survived by; 2 daughters: Betty (Grover) Scott of Pine Mountain, GA, and Teresa Couch of Lakeland, FL. 6 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2011 from 6:00 til 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, April 21, 2011 at the Kersey Funeral Home with interment to follow at the Auburndale Memorial Park.
