Obituary of Zillie Ray Warren

AUBURNDALE - Mrs. Elizabeth Ray Warren, age 90, of Auburndale, passed away Saturday (April 23, 2011) at her residence due to natural causes. Mrs. Warren was born July 12, 1920 in Pitts, Georgia, to Ennis and Lannie (Dowdy) Williford, Sr. She was an Auburndale resident since 1948 coming from Georgia. She was a retired sectionizer in the citrus industry working for Proctor and Gamble at one time. She was a member of the Lena Vista Baptist Church in Auburndale. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, fishing and especially Petville & Farmville on Facebook. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband Glyn Eric Ray; 2nd husband Preston Warren; son John Olyn Ray; daughter Joy Gienell Ray Jones; brother J.D. Williford; and 2 grandchildren: Nolan Ryan Jones & Le'Tasha Ray. Elizabeth is survived by her loving family: daughter Janice Annette Ray Williams (Blaine) Roush of Auburndale, FL; 4 sons: Ronald Eric (Camelia) Ray of Tarpon Springs, FL, Paul Ennis (Julinny) Ray of Dover, FL, Larry Glyn Ray of Auburndale, FL, Oscar Lyn (Gaynell) Ray of Karnack, TX; brother Ennis Williford, Jr. of Ray, GA; sister Myrtle Williford Lockerman of Undilla, GA; 17 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at the Lena Visa Baptist Church, 213 Florida Dr., Auburndale. Interment will follow at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Tuesday (today) April 26, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kersey Funeral Home, 108 E. Lake Stella Drive, Auburndale.
