Obituary of Alfred Howard

Mr. Alfred Carlton "A.C." Howard, Sr. age 83 a resident of Winter Haven passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011 at his residence due to Prostate Cancer. Mr. Howard was born August 28, 1928 in Winter Haven, Florida to George W. and Merlie (Spires) Howard. A.C. was a retired Air Conditioning Contractor and a lifetime Polk County resident. He also worked part time for the Winter Haven Home Depot, was a member of the Moose Lodge 1023, attended the Riverside Military Academy in Georgia (early years), graduated from Winter Haven High School and enjoyed football & baseball. He was preceded in death by his parents. A.C. is survived by his loving family; 2 Sons: George (Donna) Howard of Winter Haven, Alfred (Jenell) Howard, II of Winter Haven; Daughter: Linda (Mike) Howard of Winter Haven; Brother: Allen (Margie) Howard of Auburndale; Significant Other: Carole Miller of Winter Haven; 4 Grandchildren: Michael, John, Erica & Donald; 2 Great Grandchildren: Brett & Emma; and Aunt: Vivian O'Conner of Winter Haven.
